Travel Vaccinationsglobal air travel

If you require any vaccinations or medication relating to foreign travel you will need to fill in a travel questionnaire so that the practice nurse can assess your individual requirements. The travel questionnaire will include questions about which countries and areas within countries you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required. You will need to pick up the travel questionnaire at reception.

There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below

Europe Europe & Russia North America North America
Central America Central America South America South America
Caribbean Caribbean Africa Africa
Middle East Middle East Central Asia Central Asia
East Asia East Asia Australasia Australasia and Pacific

It is important to complete a travel questionnaire as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel - so that there is enough time to see the practice nurse for any required vaccinations. Please allow one week for the travel questionnaire to be processed and then contact the surgery to see if any vaccinations are required. For some travel destinations no further vaccinations (other than routine vaccinations) or medication are required.

Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS
